I wrote this song whilst watching a really sad film on BBC. I don't remember the name, but it really affected me. Steve and I had been going through lots of disconnect for quite a few years (before all the shit hit the fan in 2016), and I was pretty unhappy with the way things were going, but still quite tender about what we'd had.

I think in many ways I'm not really "an old fashioned girl" but I do at the base of all things need love that isn't that distracted kind of existence we tend to fall into in relationships after a few years.
